Apps

Things I built because I needed them. They run in a browser, cost nothing, and don't ask who you are.

The Bench app on a phone-width screen, showing the Ring Blank Length calculator returning 60.8 mm for a size 7 ring in 2 mm stock.

Bench โ€” Jewelry Calculators Offline PWA

The calculators I actually reach for at the bench, in one page that works with no signal.

I kept redoing the same arithmetic on scrap paper, so I put every formula in one page. It installs to a phone home screen and runs with no connection, which is the point โ€” the bench is not where I want to be hunting for signal.

Spot metal prices are typed in by hand, since the app never phones home. Gem weight, casting allowance, and alloy densities are working estimates, not lab-grade numbers.

  • Ring blank, resize, and eternity spacing
  • Metal weight, cost, casting, and wire
  • Bezel, gem weight, and jump-ring yield
  • Karat mixer and pricing
  • Ring-size, wire-gauge, density, and solder charts
  • mm / inch toggle that converts in place
  • Star a calculator to pin it to a Saved tab
