First attempt at a hollow grind.
One of my favorite books is 101 Knife Designs: Practical Designs for Daily Use Murray Carter talks a lot about two of the most used knifes, Kitchen cutlery and Daily use knifes. One of the designs that really caught my eye was the Warncliffe. So with some 154CM steel waiting to become a knife. I took a design from Murray Carter’s book, made a few changes and came up with a smallish hollow ground Wharncliffe style blade that I hope will do very well in daily cutting tasks.
I plan to finish it with black paper micarta scales and nickel silver pins. I will post another picture or two of the knife when finished.
